The Tamarack Mine
Talon Metals corporation is headquartered in the British Virgin Islands and is engaged in a joint venture with Rio Tinto on the high sulfide nickel-copper project located in near Tamarack, Minnesota. Talon plans to build a nickel-copper mine in coming years.
Although Talon Metals is marketing a "go green" story, it remains true that sulfide mining has a 100% track record of failure to protect water quality in water-rich environments.
