About the Tamarack Minnesota Area

Like much of Minnesota, this is a land of plentiful lakes, wetlands and forest. It is rich with wild rice, considered by many Native American cultures, including the Ojibwe, as a sacred component of their culture. This is a water world receiving, on average, 30 inches of precipitation per year. As a result, the area is a thriving vacation land and a fisherman and hunter’s paradise. We hope to preserve this land in a sustainable manner.

Mine concerns are documented on the mining page of this website or here and here. You can also view or download a single page printable flyer outlining concerns here.
